Subaru Timing Belt Service

“Factory” and “Signature” Services Available

Your timing belt is required to be replaced every 105,000 miles.  But what about the other components?  Your timing belt idler pulleys, hydraulic tensioner assembly, and water pump are all in contact with your timing belt.  If these items fail between timing belt replacements, you run the risk of engine damage.  For the budget-oriented, we offer our “Factory” service, which includes the replacement of your belt and inspection of all other components for noise or leakage.  Our “Signature” service includes replacement of all of these components for maximum reliability and peace of mind.

Our “Factory” Timing Belt Service Includes:

  • Remove and replace camshaft timing belt
  • Inspect tensioner assembly, idler pulleys, water pump, oil pump, camshaft seals, crankshaft seal, piston access plugs, timing covers, and timing cover gaskets
  • Reassemble using necessary replacement components

Our “Signature” Timing Belt Service Includes:

  • Remove and replace camshaft timing belt, tensioner assembly, all idler pulleys, and water pump
  • Inspect oil pump, camshaft seals, crankshaft seal, piston access plugs, timing covers, and timing cover gaskets
  • Reassemble using necessary replacement components

Additional Scheduled Maintenance Needed

Along with your Timing Belt Service, another maintenance service is due at this time.  At 105k, an Intermediate Service is due.  With your second belt replacement at 210k, a Major Service is due.
